7 DAYS CONQUERING THE RWENZORI MAJESTY

Today you will start the ascent through lush foothills, witnessing diverse flora and fauna. As you hike, you will have a stopover at Nyabitaba hut for lunch and then proceed through the Kurt Schaffer bridge, which is a conference of rivers, Bujuku and Mubuku. Reaching John Matte campsite, enjoy a hearty dinner, and rest for the challenges ahead.

Trek through mystical moss-draped forests, encountering unique wildlife. You will rest for lunch as you marvel at cascading waterfalls and take in the breathtaking scenery. You will hike through rocky parts of Mount Stanley to Elena Hut Settle where you will share stories around the campfire, have dinner and rest.

Ascend into the alpine zone, with stunning views of glaciers and rugged landscapes. Explore the mesmerizing Kitandara Lakes and immerse yourself in the mountainous beauty. Rest at the third campsite, savor a well-deserved meal, and absorb the tranquility.

You will start this hike as early as 2am and navigate challenging terrains, approaching the glaciers. Rest for lunch and summit push to the iconic Margherita Peak, the highest point on Mount Rwenzori. Enjoy this moment and take as many photos as possible. In the evening, celebrate the accomplishment at the summit, then descend back to Bujuku hut for a night of reflection.

After breakfast at Bujuku, you will desecend through the lush to John Matte for lunch and later proceed to Nyabitaba hut for dinner and an overnight.

Descend through the diverse landscapes, absorbing the final views and arrive back at base camp Nyakalengija, in time for lunch to celebrate the successful trek, and bid farewell to the majestic Rwenzori Mountains.

Today marks the end of your adventurous trip. After having your breakfast, our company guide will drive you back to Kampala.
