DAY 1: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK VIA ZIWA

Today, our driver guide will pick you up and take you on a long rewarding journey to Uganda’s largest national park, Murchison Falls National Park. The journey is rewarding in a way that you go through several villages gazing at the beautiful green vegetation and several roadside fruit and vegetable markets. Our first stopover will be at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only home to rhinos in Uganda. The trek will take anything from a few minutes to an hour depending on where the rhinos are located within the sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing from the ranger guide and start on your rhino trek. You will have lunch thereafter and make your way to the park where you arrive later that evening. Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE

After your morning breakfast, you will go on a 3–4-hour game drive in the park. While on this game drive, you will stumble across animals including giraffes, lions, antelopes, elephants, and a lot of savannah birds. Head back to your accommodation for lunch after which, you will go on a boat cruise to the bottom of the mystic falls. As you enjoy the tranquil breeze on the cruise, look out for water species like hippos, Nile crocodiles and unique bird species.

DAY 3: TOP OF THE FALLS – KAMPALA

We will drive to the top of Murchison falls where the 1 km wide Nile forces itself into a 7-meter gap to a thunderous roar making them, the most powerful falls in the world. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the resident rainbow as well as take as many photos as you can. It is after this that you will drive back to Kampala.
